This 1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is powered by a replacement overbored 455ci V8 mated to a TH350 automatic transmission and was refinished in yellow.
The replacement 455ci V8 was sourced from an early-1970s Pontiac have been bored .030″ over.
Features include a four-barrel carburetor, chrome valve covers, and an aftermarket dual exhaust system.
The removed 400ci V8 is included in the sale.
The TH350 automatic is equipped with a 3k-rpm stall converter and routes power through a 3.55:1 differential.
The car was repainted in its original Sundance Yellow (51), exterior features include body-color bumpers, an integrated rear spoiler, a Trans Am hood decal, and fender ducts.
The 15″ snowflake alloy wheels feature Firebird center caps and are mounted with Cooper Cobra G/T tires all around.
The seats are upholstered in tan cloth with vinyl-trimmed door panels and a silver engine-turned dashboard fascia.
The headliner, carpets, seats, and door panels have been refurbished, and equipment includes power windows, a push-button AM/FM radio, and a full-length center console.
