1969 Pontiac GTO V8

This 1969 Pontiac GTO coupe is finished in blue over a black interior and is powered by a numbers-matching 400ci V8 mated to a Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission.

The 400ci V8 is fitted with an Edelbrock Performer four-barrel carburetor, Flowmaster Series 40 mufflers, and a Mallory Unilite breakerless electronic ignition.

The battery and starter were replaced in 2019.

The removed Rochester Quadraject carburetor is included in the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Turbo 400 three-speed automatic transmission.

Originally finished in Verdoro Green, the car was repainted its current shade of Liberty Blue in 2017 and included repairs of pinholes below the rear window as well as the installation of a replacement black vinyl top.

A replacement windshield and Ames Performance Engineering rear bumper were also installed, and the car is equipped with a body-colored Endura front bumper with integrated directional lights.

14” Rally II wheels wear PMD center caps as well as chrome beauty rings and are mounted with redline tires.

Power-assisted steering and front disc brakes came fitted from the factory, and the brake master cylinder have been replaced.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench trimmed in black vinyl upholstery along with matching door panels and carpeting.

An Alpine stereo is housed in the glove compartment and is linked with Boston Acoustic speakers on the rear shelf and kick panels.

An Alpine amplifier is also installed.

A wood-rimmed Grant steering wheel fronts instrumentation that includes a 120-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges mounted beneath the dash.

The five-digit odometer shows 64k miles, true mileage is unknown.
