Description
This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette is a Saint Louis–bodied coupe.
Finished in blue over blue vinyl, the car is powered by a 427ci L68 V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission, and other features include six-barrel carburetor induction, a limited-slip differential, a stinger hood, a heater/defroster, and an AM/FM radio.
The 427ci L68 V8 came equipped with three two-barrel Holley carburetors and was rated at 400 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque when new.
The carburetors were rebuilt and the ignition points and spark plugs were replaced in June 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a wide-ratio Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end with a 3.55:1 final gear ratio.
The body was refinished in its factory shade of Lynndale Blue (977AA), and features flip-up headlights, split chrome bumpers, front fender vents, and a black-striped stinger hood.
Silver-painted 15″ Rally wheels are fitted with chrome trim rings and hubcaps as well as BFGoodrich Silvertown redline tires.
Braking is provided by four-wheel discs.
The interior is trimmed in Teal Blue vinyl (418AA) with color-coordinated treatments on the dashboard, console, door panels, and carpeting.
The center stack houses a clock, ventilation controls, and a vertically mounted Delco AM/FM radio.
A woodgrain steering wheel fronts instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges.
The five-digit odometer shows 68k miles, TMU.
