This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS coupe is finished in metallic blue over black upholstery and powered by a rebuilt 396ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end.
The 396ci V8 was rebuilt in January 2020 by Jon Kaase Racing Engines.
Removed parts were retained and are included in the sale.
The heads were machined, a valve job was performed, the cylinders were bored and honed, and the following components were installed: Edelbrock RPM intake manifold, Braswell carburetor, MSD Blaster 2 coil and Pro-Billet distributor, Competition Cams hydraulic roller camshaft and billet timing set, Diamond pistons, Manley Performance valves and H-beam connecting rods, Trend Performance pushrods, GM alternator and water pump, Thermostat, Exhaust manifolds, Melling oil pump and pickup, Valve cover breathers, Fuel pump and fuel lines, Oil pan, RAM steel flywheel and Concept clutch kit, Harmonic balancer, Block heater cord.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed Muncie M20 manual transmission and a Positraction rear end.
The exterior was refinished in metallic blue with white side stripes and features SS and 396 badging, dual exhaust outlets, twin hood bulges, and chrome bumpers and trim.
Super Sport-style 14″wheels are mounted with chrome trim rings, SS-logo center caps, and Goodyear Polyglas G70 tires.
The cabin features front and rear bench seats upholstered in black vinyl, and equipment includes a floor-mounted shifter and a factory FM stereo hooked to replacement speakers.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a Sunpro tachometer, and a mix of factory and aftermarket ancillary gauges.
The five-digit odometer shows 80k miles, total mileage is unknown.
